Archbishop Anastas in critical condition/ Interreligious Council: We pray that

The Board of the Presidency of the Interreligious Council of Albania has followed with concern the health progress of Archbishop Anastas, who has been intubated for several days.

The members of the Board expressed prayer and humility that God will grant him full health and strength to continue his mission for peace.

"The Board of the Presidency of the Interreligious Council of Albania is following with attention and concern the health progress of Archbishop Anastas, who has been facing a serious health condition for several days.

We, the members of the Presidency Board, the President of the KNFSH Mons. Gjergj Meta, the members of the Presidency Board, H. Bujar Spahiu (Chairman of KNFSH 2023), H. Dede Edmond Brahimaj (Chairman of KNFSH 2021) and Pastor Ergest Biti, with respect and deep prayers, we turn to God for the speedy recovery of Archbishop Anastas, co-founder of KNFSH in 2007, Chairman of the Interreligious Council of Albania in years 2018-2019 and 2024 and currently a member of the Presidency Board.

We pray with faith and humility, that God grants him full health and strength to continue his mission of peace, harmony and interreligious dialogue. His contribution and inspiration for interfaith cooperation and understanding are a lesson and guide for all of us.

O Lord, we pray that You will sustain him with every blessing and grant him many more years of blessed service, full of peace and spiritual strength, thus leading an example of peace and unity in our society. Amen!
