In an announcement distributed by the Autocephalous Orthodox Church, it is stated that the Primates of the Orthodox Churches, Bishops, clergy and believers around the world have sent letters of prayer for the health of Archbishop Anastas, who has been hospitalized in Athens for several days, after problems that have appeared since December.

The Patriarchs of Romania and Bulgaria also sent letters praying for the recovery of Archbishop Anastas.
