The head of the GJKKO, Erion Bani, was elected with 189 votes in favor as a member of the governing board of the School of Magistrates.

Erjon Bani was competing for this position with the current head of the Tirana Criminal Court, Gert Hoxha.

Bani was elected by a majority vote as a member of the Board of Magistrates.

We recall that Bani is the person who assessed the security measure against Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and one of the judges most severely attacked in the media at the behest of government propaganda, with the most untrue and unheard-of accusations and slanders.

However, Bani continues to be one of the judges with the most integrity in the Albanian justice system, and now he will have a new duty as a member of the board of the magistrate's school. /CNA
