Balluk/Beçi's immunity vote: Here's when SPAK can submit a new request to the Parliament

Former prosecutor Eugen Beçi has indicated this evening the cases when the Special Prosecution Office may send a new request to the Parliament to lift the immunity of MP Belinda Balluku.

In a television appearance, Beçi stated that SPAK may submit a new request if the criminal case against Balluk can be aggravated or new charges can be brought against her.

"SPAK can submit a new request again if the criminal fact is aggravated. It depends on how the dynamics of the investigation will go. But if another charge is filed and new data on the destruction of evidence is found, the same request can be resubmitted again. If another criminal proceeding is initiated against you with other circumstances and charges, a new request can be submitted by the Prosecutor's Office ," said Beçi. /CNA
