The head of Konfindustria, Gjergj Buxhuku, stated today that if timely action is not taken regarding the situation of rising fuel prices, created by the situation in the Middle East, the country could face a serious situation.

In a television studio, Buxhuku stated that there is a risk of the state collapsing and destabilizing, due to the pure economic recession that such a development brings.

"The US intervention in the Middle East is done to preserve the dollar more and not for Israel. We are in very fragile moments. We are not in the first case of Ukraine, but we are in a second case. We have a formal and non-acting state that protects major interests, we are talking about national security. Fuel is the commodity for which wars are fought in the world, have been fought and are being fought, and you cannot be in the position of a spectator, a country where there is no agriculture, no production.

These are not enough with a deficit of over 5 billion euros, but this also happens, the war in Iran happens. The price of fuel has increased by 25%, from 174 to 217. You have lost 2% of national production per year, which means that you seriously risk going into a pure economic recession, mentioning only fuel, without introducing other factors.
