Gunshot wound in Pogradec/Perpetrator arrested

The perpetrator of the injury of 35-year-old BS in Pogradec today has been arrested.

In Prrenjas, 24-year-old NA was arrested, suspected of having wounded a 35-year-old man with a firearm.

The injured person is in hospital with a life-threatening condition.

He shot and wounded a 35-year-old man in Pogradec and fled, being caught in Përrenjas after a few minutes of pursuit by the Police.

At around 1:15 p.m., in neighborhood no. 3, it is suspected that, during a conflict, citizen NA, 24 years old, resident of Buçimas, Pogradec, shot and wounded citizen BS, around 35 years old, in the leg. He is receiving treatment in hospital and is out of danger.

The Pogradec Police Services, in cooperation with the services of the Përrenjas Police Station, arrested and are escorting the suspected perpetrator of the incident to the Police Station for further procedural actions.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to clarify the circumstances of the conflict and legally document the event.
