IGJEUM warns: Temperatures in Albania reach 40 degrees Celsius

The Institute of Geosciences has today shared a forecast regarding the country's meteorological conditions.

According to data, from Monday there will be a significant increase in maximum temperatures, which in low-lying areas will reach up to 40 degrees Celsius.

The increase in temperatures will also be felt on the coast and mountainous areas, at 34-36 degrees, respectively.

PRECIPITATION

This afternoon (Sunday, the 28th) and tomorrow (Monday, the 29th) no precipitation is expected in all regions (as shown in the table, respectively for each region).

TEMPERATURE

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 23 / 36 °C

in lowlands: 22 / 40 °C

in mountainous areas: 16 / 34 °C
