Tirana Police have solved the incident that occurred yesterday evening in Babrru, where an 18-year-old is suspected of opening fire at a mobile phone service after a conflict with the business owner.

According to the blue uniforms, the young man with the initials RM, after a conflict for weak motives with the owner of the service, citizen Xh. I., fired two automatic firearms in the direction of the business. As a result of the shooting, only material damage was caused to the exterior facade and interior of the service, while no injuries were reported.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of Police Commissariat No. 5 organized the police operation codenamed "Discovery", enabling the identification, localization and arrest of the perpetrator within a short time.

The 18-year-old was caught about 3 kilometers from the scene, while during a search of the area, police found and seized the automatic weapon suspected of being used in the attack, as well as combat ammunition.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action, while investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The investigative actions documented that the suspected perpetrator, citizen RM, 18 years old, after a conflict for weak motives with the owner of the service, citizen Xh. I., fired twice with an automatic firearm in the direction of the business, causing only material damage to the exterior facade and interior.

As part of the police operation "Discovery" organized and conducted in a very short time, the Police services located, about 3 kilometers from the scene of the incident, captured and handcuffed the RM citizen, 18 years old.
