Five people have died after a shooting in Stade, northern ...
US President Donald Trump said today that Iran has requested a meeting, which will be held within the week.
Trump said in a post on social media that the meeting will take place on Tuesday, in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Following this statement, and later in statements to the White House, White House spokeswoman Carolyn Levitt told Fox News that the American side would be represented by special envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.
However, earlier, Iran's Foreign Ministry had denied reports that Iranian and American technical teams would meet in the coming days to discuss the implementation of the agreement between the two countries to end the war.
