Last communication Rama-Ahmetaj/ Incinerators and imprisoned officials
Prime Minister, Edi Rama

The Prime Minister, Edi Rama, in an interview for "Opinion" spoke about the affair of the incinerators.

Rama showed when he had the last communication with the former deputy prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj, as well as regarding the imprisonment of senior government officials for various affairs.

Journalist: Do you know where the former deputy prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj is?

   "Of course", said Rama.

Reporter: When was the last time you communicated?

"A long time ago. The affairs are not part of the common goal, nor of the work plan, they are not the affairs that have cleansed Tirana. Those who want to do one way and two jobs do not continue the common way," he said.

Rama says that a body created for this work is dealing with the issue of incinerators and corrupt officials.

"The corruption affair is clearly a corrupt affair that is being dealt with by a body that we have created for this work. I am the defender and inspirer of SPAK to drink the black water of everything that it has unjustly received at the expense of the Albanian people. The system is brings (officials) to justice, but it is not done in the blink of an eye. This functioning of the system will make people think 17 times before becoming part of the affair," said the prime minister.

Journalist: Is there political responsibility for appointing these ministers who are in prison today?

"This is the tenth year and we are talking about ministers from 7 years ago. This is a remarkable achievement for the history of this country. People in power are not beyond the reach of justice. My political responsibility is that I, together with others, create opportunities for this country. Justice will take you and bind you if you are freed from the chains of the law," said Rama./ CNA
