Këlliçi in the USA/ Meeting with the director of IRI and the president of IND

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi is in the United States of America where he has held several official meetings.

Specifically, Këlliçi and several other DP deputies met with the director of the American Republican Institute (IRI), Daniel Twining, and the President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), Tamara Cofman Wittes.

Këlliçi emphasizes that Albania values ??the partnership with the US and its support to bring European standards to governance.

It was a special pleasure to meet with the Director of the American Republican Institute (IRI), Mr. Daniel Twining, and the President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), Ms. Tamara Cofman Wittes.

The fight against corruption and organized crime, the destruction of drug cartels, free and fair elections, and the democratic functioning of institutions are issues of common interest.

Albania values ??the partnership with the US and its support to bring European standards to governance.

IRI and NDI have helped Albania make progress in international standards of good governance over the years, and I am happy to hear that they will continue to contribute in this direction.
