The former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj came out terrified by SPAK, after 9 hours in front of the prosecutors.

He gave his testimony regarding the sterilization concession

CNA.al earlier published a video of the moment when Beqaj was about to enter SPAK, where he was seen with a black bag on his shoulder and alone, without any lawyer by his side.

In his speech before the journalists, Beqaj said: "I am the person who knows about the circumstances of the case that the prosecution is pursuing regarding sterilization. I gave my testimony before the prosecutors".

Asked if he is afraid of the SPAK investigation, he said: "No, I'm not afraid at all."

Beqaj was also asked what he had in his bag, he said that he only had work documents.

Beqaj gave an account to SPAK officers in the capacity of a declarant regarding the sterilization concession, which is being investigated as a corrupt concession in violation of equality in tenders and abuse of office./ CNA.al
