The former socialist mayor ends up in the hospital

The former head of the Fushë Arrëz municipality, Fran Tuci, ended up in the prison hospital after having some health problems, according to journalist Klodiana Lala.

Fran Tuci was arrested in July and accused of abuse of office for cleaning a street with community funds.

Tuci was arrested by order of SPAK on the charge of having caused a damage of 234 million ALL to the state.

"The damage calculated by IKMT Shkodër, after the inspection carried out on the ground, has a significant value of 234,007,500 ALL, which includes the damage to the ground as well as the deforestation of the surface registered with ASHK, the Pukë Local Directorate, as an asset of the type 'Forest' owned by the Municipality of Fushë Arrëz", it was said in the announcement of the Special Prosecutor's Office./ CNA
