Ilir Xhakoli: We will create a painters' corner in Drilon

The Mayor of Pogradec said that soon all the painters of Pogradec will have their own special corner to sell their works. Such a space will be provided in the new Visitor Center in Drilon, where every painter will have the opportunity to use the premises for free to sell their paintings to visitors.

Xhakolli made this known while visiting the studio of the Pogradec painter, Gentian Zeka, in the village of Rëmenj:

"Gentian Zeka is one of those painters who, with his work, not only makes us proud, but also promotes Pogradec in different dimensions. I had the pleasure of visiting his studio in the village of Rëmenj, where the author has chosen not to move from his birthplace and to develop his artistic life between Pogradec and Rëmenj. Zeka is the author of dozens of national and international exhibitions, showing the world that art in Pogradec is an inseparable part of everyday life and that Pogradec, nature, its villages, are muses of inspiration for painters, artists and writers. We will work to soon provide Gentian with a studio in the city, just as in the new Visitor Center in Drilon we will create a special corner only for painters, who will have the opportunity to sell their works."/ CNA
