Many residents of the Gjoricë administrative unit in Bulqiza have gone to the hospital after being poisoned by drinking water.

In Bulqiza Hospital, patients with symptoms mainly vomiting and diarrhea were presented.

From the analyzes carried out by the Local Health Care Unit in Bulqiza, it was found that the water was contaminated. Until the release of the final analyses, taken at several points of the water supply in Gjorica, NJVKSH has asked the Gjorica administrative unit to ask the residents not to use the network water for drinking.

Such a situation is repeated in Gjorica and Shupenza, as there have been several cases of water poisoning of residents.

Residents of the area have repeatedly raised the concern that the works for the water supply are not of high quality, while some of the deposits are easily accessible by outsiders and are exposed to pollution.
