GJKKO makes the decision/ the 9 confiscated assets of Raul Zenunaj go to the state

On 01.06.2023, in the Special Court of First Instance against Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana, the trial ended regarding the request of the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime for the confiscation of the assets of the subject of Normative Act no. 1 date 31.01.2020 "On preventive measures in the framework of strengthening the fight against terrorism, organized crime, serious crimes and the consolidation of public security order", amended, in relation to the subject Raul Zenunaj and persons related to him.

According to the conclusions given by the Special Prosecutor in the previous court hearings, with the decision dated 01.06.2023 the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, has decided, among other things, the confiscation and transfer in favor of the state of assets on which was seized by decision no. 49 dated 05.01.2021 of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana:

1) Property of the "Unit" type with a total area of ??70 m², Vlorë Municipality, purchased by the subject in 2012 in the amount of ALL 6,944,000;

2) Property of the "Unit" type with a total area of ??50 m², Vlora Municipality, purchased by the subject in 2012 in the amount of ALL 4,960,000;

3) Movable property, vehicle brand BMË type GM730D, owned by the subject Raul Zenunaj, purchased by the subject in 2014;

4) "Field" property, with an area of ??5000 m², currently owned by an ES citizen

5) Property of the "Apartment" type, with an area of ??159 m², Vlorë Municipality, owned by citizen VZ, purchased in 2010 in the amount of ALL 8,107,092.

6) Property of the "Truall" type, with an area of ??105 m², Vlorë Municipality, co-owned by citizens VZ and AM, purchased in 2013 in the value of 1,100,000 ALL.

7) Property of the type "Apartment", with an area of ??171 m², Vlora Municipality, jointly owned by citizens VZ and AM, purchased in 2013 in the amount of 10,500,000 ALL.

8) Real estate "4-storey addition", with a total area of ??4 floors 640 m², jointly owned by citizens VZ and AM, Vlora Municipality. From the expertise conducted in the trial, it results that the value of the investment for the "additional 4-storey" property is ALL 20,216,320.

9) Property of the "Bodrum" type, with an area of ??181 m², "Kushtrimi" Neighborhood, Vlorë Municipality, co-owned by citizens VZ and AM, purchased in 2013 for the value of 7,700,000 ALL.
