The Administrator of the Security Academy, Milton Nushi, shared details regarding the serious poisoning incident of 56 students of this institution, after consuming their lunch on Wednesday.

In a statement to the media, Nushi stated that this is a daily menu served by the company licensed to bring three meals to students.

According to Nufi, in order to come up with an accurate answer, data from laboratory tests must be awaited, while he added that the students' condition is good.

"Students had concerns after consuming lunch. 56 students in total. They were taken to the infirmary here and then to the QSUT. The suspicion is that it happened after consuming food. They have a daily menu for every meal, the food is of very good standards and it may have been due to the work of the variety but the food is good. We have not had any poisoning problems so far. We have notified the AKU and Public Health, who have taken the samples. This is the first case. I think there was a case in 2016. New contract with the company, but there were also previous contracts. Public health employees are taking the students' tests again. The poisoning was a mild form. I cannot say where it came from without talking to the institutions. The students' condition is good. We could have managed it here in the infirmary, but to be safer we sent them to the QSUT.
