From May 17, Vlora will officially open its festive season. On the beautiful Lungomare promenade, where the sea kisses the city, an unforgettable journey will begin with the sounds of magnificent concerts, where well-known names in Albanian and international music such as Soni Malaj, Yll Limani, Avandi, Alex Guesta, Dexter, Kida, Ledri Vula and DJs from Mars will light up the nights of the coastal city.

Through a video post, the Mayor of Vlora, Ermal Dredhi, expresses his enthusiasm for the season that awaits all the citizens of Vlora and its tourists.

But the season doesn't just stop at music! From morning to evening, children will enjoy a variety of games, from mini basketball, football and volleyball, to face painting, fun dances and painting exhibitions that show that art lives in every corner of Vlora.

On May 18, everything will be transformed into a sports arena, with the triathlon held in Uji i Ftohtë, where hundreds of young people will compete in swimming, running and cycling, proving that Vlora is a city that breathes health and life.

Vlora is not only energy, but also high art and cultural heritage. On May 23, the “Petro Marko” theater will be transformed into a temple of music, where the “Gran Gala” opera will bring an extraordinary repertoire of classical arias, with powerful voices that will touch hearts and elevate the artistic sensitivity of the city of Vlora.

On the same date, on May 23 and then on May 24, the city will dress in the colorful costumes of tradition at the “Aulona Folk Festival”. Folk groups from all Albanian regions and guests from abroad will bring a celebration of heritage, where song and dance will speak in the language of the Albanian heart, giving Vlora the sounds of common roots.

And when you think the party is over, it's just begun! From June 25 to 30, Vlora will explode into a tropical carnival! The Brazilian Carnival Week will bring to our promenade the magical rhythms of samba, the enchanting colors of parades and the explosive energy of Latin culture. Vlora will dance from morning to night, turning into a Mediterranean Rio, a bridge between continents and hearts that beat the same for life and joy.

Today, Vlora is no longer just a coastal city. It is a great stage, where art, sports, history and celebrations are intertwined. It is the most beautiful invitation that Albania makes to the world! /CNA
