Under accusation of electoral crimes/ Controls begin with a decision by the GJKKO for representatives from 4 political entities

The Korça Police are implementing the decision of the Criminal Court of Kosovo (GJKKO), regarding a criminal proceeding against 4 political entities spread across Albania. Confidential sources indicate that representatives of these entities are accused of electoral crimes, mainly vote buying.

Based on the court's decision, the Korça Police are conducting searches in the homes of the persons under investigation and have seized assets and several phones. It is learned that one of the entities under investigation by the GJKKO is the Social Democratic Party. The investigative actions in Korça are being followed by a prosecutor appointed by SPAK to monitor electoral crimes.

It is expected that SPAK itself will issue an official statement on the case./CNA
