Greek customs officers strike / Vehicle movement in Kakavija suspended for several hours tomorrow

The Kakavija Border Police has announced that tomorrow, Monday, from 06:00 to 10:00 Albanian time, no vehicles will be allowed to move. This suspension of several hours is due to a strike by Greek customs officers.

It is announced that during this time, only pedestrians without luggage and vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.

The Kakavija Border Police, through the Kakavija Joint Information Exchange Center, has been notified by the Greek Border Police that on 27.10.2025, from 06:00 to 10:00 (Albanian time), the movement of vehicles will not be allowed at the Kakavija BCP, due to the customs officers' strike.

Only pedestrians without luggage and vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.

The Kakavija Border Police asks for citizens' understanding and suggests planning vehicle trips at other times of the day. /CNA
