Judge Hoxha: The placement of courts in police dormitories or places where dogs

The Deputy President of the Tirana Court of First Instance, Gerd Hoxha, in a statement to the media, said that the meeting of judges was held behind closed doors for better progress.

Hoxha said that the placement of courts in police dormitories or places where dogs are treated must end.

 He further said that the excuses of responsible persons who avoid responsibility for the safety of judges must end.

He also requested that the law on increasing the number of legal assistants in the courts be urgently passed.

" With closed doors it was for a better progress of the meeting. We will follow up on those requests that we have for the benefit of the citizens. These are not privileges for judges. The placement of courts in police dormitories or places where dogs are treated must end. The justification of high officials who say that the safety of judges is not our responsibility must end.

Urgently pass the law that foresees the increase in legal assistants. Representatives of the Supreme Court of Justice are part of the meeting ," said Hoxha./CNA
