The member of DP, Artur Mahmutaj, has confirmed that he is ready to become part of the primaries in DP, to run for mayor in the city of Fier.

This was announced by Mahmutaj himself, through a status on social networks, where he states that the situation in the city of Fier requires bold and quick action.

" Dear member and supporters of the Fier Democratic Party,

The situation in the city of Fier calls for action, bold and fast - and we must act! For this reason, as a member of the DP for 30 years, I take the responsibility to run for the primary elections for Mayor of Fier.

The Democratic Party is the best hope to redirect our city with a more humane, just and peaceful vision.

I remain humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices that await us.

We have chosen hope over fear, unity and purpose over conflict and discord.
