Director Bujar Kapexhiu has described the 11th Song Festival as one of the editions where the song and music were absolutely Albanian.

While talking about the 61st edition of the Song Festival, the director said that there is a kind of change that has not yet been embraced by the people.

During the interview with journalist Nisida Tufa, Kapexhiu said that with time they will be perfected and will be understood by the wider mass.

“Padyshim që cilido që del në skenë ka një lloj emocioni pozitiv për t’u mbush me entuziazëm. Ndihesh edhe ti mirë në atë atmosferë, aq më tepër në një festival ku konkurron muzika. Por nga njëherë, aty unë kujtova Festivalin e 11 dhe them, ndoshta mund ta teproj, por ai festival u dënua për arsye krejt të tjera, por ai është festivali që mund të them në mënyrë absolute festivali shqip.
