This Saturday, October 28, 2023, the National Day of "No", which is celebrated in Greece, took place in Këlcyre and Bularat.

Also present was the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister, Jorgos Kotsiras, who also gave a speech.

The Greek Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated Greece's position on the Beleri case, stating that Beleri has the right to be sworn in as the mayor of Himare.

"Just as the two-party agreement on the remains was discussed, we seek the same cooperation for the Beleri case, in order not to continue to negatively affect the relations between the two countries, as emphasized by Prime Minister Mitcotakis, Fredi Beleri has the right to be sworn in as chairman of the municipality of Himara, the right that originates from the Constitution and is absolutely correct with European law. Greece unwaveringly supports Albania's entry into the EU, but this means respecting the rule of law," said Jorgos Kotsiras./ CNA
