Historian, Neritan Ceka, spoke about the accusations made by SPAK against the former prime minister, Sali Berisha.

He says that the "Berisha myth" has fallen, and he even states that this has happened since the moment the former prime minister came to power for the second time in 2005, after this moment according to him he was only a career politician.

Ceka says that this is not the right file to convict Sali Berisha. He adds that the citizens want the big "fish", they expect a real trial, to confront a politician before history.

"As a historian, I always have parallels. And this reminds me, the doom of blockmen. They burned 40 years of our lives. There were political prisoners, expropriations and more. I did not expect that those who struggled and caused so much harm to the Albanian people, would be punished for a cup of coffee. This is not the right file to convict Sali Berisha. They wait for the big fish. They are waiting for a trial to really face a politician before history. I believe that our government is intelligent. Procedures are the most basic element for a cultured person. This whole historical process has no procedures. I believe that we are at a level of politicians, which are the politicians of a people that has gone from 4 million to 2 million. A people who have no interest in working in their country with the salaries they receive and flee abroad. In this landscape, there are no heroes", Ceka added./ CNA
