The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in a statement to the media today, he said that Kosovo deserves the status of a candidate country for the EU.

He also stated that the recognition of Kosovo should be joined by 5 non-recognizing states to those 22 states that recognize Kosovo's independence.

Regarding the dialogue with Serbia, for the Brussels agreement and the annex to this agreement in Ohrid, Kurti said that Kosovo is committed to normalizing relations with Serbia and to mutual recognition.

According to him, it is the Serbian side that will not sign an agreement.

"But the Serbian side has refused to sign the agreement. At the meeting on October 21, the European and American emissaries told us that the draft for single parenting was written more carefully with regard to the structure of the Constitution of Kosovo and the laws of the Republic of Kosovo, and if it were to be signed there, it was foreseen that the Constitutional Court would give its constitutionality as an answer ", Kurti said./ CNA
