The director of detention in Vlora resigns

Engjllush Avdulaj, the director of Vlora detention, has resigned.

Avdulaj, through a letter addressed to the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja and the General Director of Prisons, Admir Abrija, has given his irrevocable resignation.

The reason for his resignation is an offer from the public sector, which he has decided to accept.

"I, Enjëllush Avdulaj, have been appointed to the position of Director of IEVP - Vlorë on 02.02.2021. I am currently facing an offer from the public sector which is a new challenge for my professional career.

I regret to inform you that I have decided to accept this professional leap to another level and therefore I am submitting my irrevocable resignation from the position of Director of IEVP - Vlorë. Greeting you and all the staff of the General Directorate of Prisons for your work time and cooperation", says Avdulaj's letter./ CNA
