The world championship for parachute flights was held in Bulgaria for the 12th year in a row. 31 countries from around the world took part in this competition, with their national teams consisting of the top 5 pilots from each country.

The race took place in Sopot, Bulgaria for six consecutive days in challenging meteorological conditions. Our national team consisting of (Jonatan Islami, Blerian Brace, Silian Zani, Arber Haxhiaj, Denis Miftari and coach Alket Islamin) was ranked 13th out of 31 countries.

While in the individual race, Jonathan Islam managed to rank in the top 10, reaping success, among 130 competing pilots.

Islam was ranked 9th in this competition, marking the highest record ever achieved by Albania. This has also been a success of the Albanian Federation of Aeronautics.
