Names/ Who are the five arrested for the cyber attacks?

The prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Tirana requests the security measure "House arrest" for five IT employees at the Department of Public Administration (DAP).

The request is made for the criminal offense of Misuse of duty" provided by article 248 of the Penal Code for the cyber attack on the state institution of the National Association of National Accountants, which includes all official government websites in the Republic of Albania.

The investigations were conducted by prosecutor Bledar Valikaj.

Sipas prokurorit, në rast se këta punonjës, do të kishin vepruar në përputhje me urdhërimet e Rregullores së Sigurisë së Informacionit nr. 337/1 prot., datë 17.01.2022, dhe Rregullores së Brendshme të AKSHI-it duke kërkuar informacion dhe duke u azhornuar me antiviruset më të fundit të sistemit, atëherë do ishte zbuluar në sistemet e tyre virusi i cili ka hyrë fillimisht tek administrata.al në mënyrë që të bëhej e mundur neutralizimi i tij pa prekur sistemin e AKSHI-t.
