The National Chairman of the Political Prisoners and Persecuted, Besim Ndregjoni has called the post of the US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, on November 29 shocking and terrible.
In an interview in Euronews Albania, Ndregjoni said that there was no human feeling today to see Ambassador Yuri Kim, the representative of the state of freedom, alongside the communists, honoring the communist executioners and not the martyrs of the homeland.
"It's terrible, it's shocking, it's extraordinary. Yuri Kim, since you are giving me the right to speak, the friendship with the USA was made by these anti-communists and not by these heirs of communism who go along with Yuri Kim. There was no human feeling today to see Ambassador Yuri Kim, the representative of the state of freedom, alongside the communists, honoring the communist executioners and not the martyrs of the motherland. Yuri Kim, Albanians' love for the USA has been made by Albanians anti-communist", said Ndregjoni./ CNA.al
