Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi has confirmed Italy's support for the opening of negotiations for Albania.
Speaking to the Italian Senate, Draghi said his government agreed with the opening of negotiations and EU enlargement in the Western Balkans.
We recall here that the day before, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the boycott of the European Union Summit on June 23.
Rama wrote that there is no reason to go to the Summit as long as the whole Union, according to him, is kidnapped by Bulgaria.
"We discussed today at the next EU Summit with the leaders of Serbia and Northern Macedonia. It seems that another 'No, forgive me!' will be what we will hear in the end! The whole Union kidnapped by Bulgaria is not a good spectacle to see! What to do there ?! ", Rama wrote yesterday./ CNA.al
