Fatmir Xhafaj, former Minister of the Interior, who resigned after the outbreak of the "Babale" scandal, the man who led the Reform in Justice and who would take the direction of an "Ad Hoc" commission, a scheme denounced by CNA, which intended to control SPAK, has stated that the Special Prosecutor's Office is performing very well despite the problems.

Xhafaj twists it by saying that SPAK deserves a lot of appreciation in several aspects.

"SPAK, despite all the problems, is performing very well and deserves a lot of appreciation in several aspects. I have said it in previous years, the relevant structures here in the Assembly must reform all its work. There is no need for the monitoring structure to rely on reports", he declared.

A few months ago, CNA denounced the government's scheme to control SPAK, where Fatmir Xhafaj would lead an "Ad Hoc" committee in parliament.

Xhafaj, known as a former Enverist, together with the 99-chas of the Municipality, would attack SPAK, looking for mechanisms to hinder and restrain them in their work after sensational arrests or investigations on hot issues.

For the establishment of this "Ad Hoc" commission, there were also reactions from internationals who emphasized their support for SPAK and conveyed the message that SPAK should not be affected./ CNA
