Economy expert, Brisida Shehaj, has commented on the scandals that happened in the Municipality of Tirana with the arrests of the directors of Veliaj as well as the arrest of the resigned mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro.

For both cases, Brisida Shehaj points out that there was no reaction from the Council of Ministers regarding the revocation of the status for the "strategic investor", Artan Gaçin, and the revocation of the "special" status for the company that built the hotel.

The Economy expert in her reaction underlines that as long as there is no revocation, corruption starts in the municipality and ends in the Government Assembly.

"In the beginning, Jorgo Goro was arrested because the land on which the status of strategic investor was approved for Artan Gacin was obtained with forged documents.

No reaction from the Council of Ministers and the Strategic Investments Committee.

According to the law, that status should have been immediately revoked.

Then pandora's box was opened in the Municipality of Tirana.

The company building the 5-star hotel and the investor are investigated for benefiting from public funds through corruption.

Mirela Kumbaro and the Council of Ministers approved the "special" status and today it is not revoked.

As long as this does not happen, the story becomes clear.
