The payment of soldiers participating in KFOR is doubled

Today, at the government meeting, the decision was made to double the payment for the soldiers participating in KFOR.

According to the decision, from 60,000 ALL, they will be paid 120,000 ALL per day.

"SOME CHANGES IN DECISION NO. 910, DATED 22.12.2014, OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS, "FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA IN THE INTERNATIONAL MILITARY OPERATION KFOR, KOSOVO", AMENDED

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution, Article 7, of Law No. 9363, dated 24.3.2005, "On sending the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania abroad, as well as on the manner and procedures of deployment and transfer of military forces foreigners in the territory of the Republic of Albania", as amended, and the letter "ç", of Article 11, of Law No. 64/2014, "On the powers and authorities of the direction and command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania ”, amended, with the proposal of the Minister of Defense, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

1. In decision no. 910, dated 22.12.2014, of the Council of Ministers, "On the participation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania in the international military operation KFOR, Kosovo", as amended, the following changes are made:

a) In point 4, the phrase "... December 31, 2024..." is replaced by "... December 31, 2027...";

b) In letter "a", of point 5, the phrase "... in the amount of 6,000 (six thousand) lek..." is replaced by "... in the amount of 12,000 (twelve thousand)...".

2. The financial effects, resulting from the implementation of this decision, are borne by the budget of the Ministry of Defense.

3. The Minister of Defense is charged with the implementation of this decision.

 This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette", it says in the decision./ CNA
