There are only two weeks left from the date of the local elections on May 14, and the Democratic Party with commanding chairman Enkelejd Alibeajn has not yet submitted the list of its Commissioners.

On the other hand, the Secretary for Legal and Electoral Affairs, Eridian Salianji, asks the head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibash, for the list of members.

"Recently, we have been informed that in some Commissions of the Electoral Administration Zones, the electoral entity "Democratic Party" has not yet sent the proposals and documents for members to the Commissions of the Voting Centers, exceeding the deadlines set in article 36 point 2 of Law no. 10019, dated 29.12.2008 "Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania, amended.

Based on the above, in order to guarantee a regular election process in accordance with the standards of the legislation in force, please:

Make available to us a copy of the Commissioner's decision together with the list of persons who can be appointed mainly to fill the vacancies for members and secretaries of the KVC, according to the provisions of Article 36 of the Electoral Code, as amended, and Article 11 of instruction no. 2, dated 5.12.2020, of the Regulatory Commission, "On setting the procedures for the selection and training of citizens who can be appointed mainly to fill vacancies in the Commissions of the Electoral Administration Area and Commissions of Voting Centers", amended', it is stated in the request addressed to the CEC", it is written in the request of the SP./CNA.al
