The former president, Bamir Topi, spoke about the situation created in the Assembly.

Bamir Topi said that there are 2 gangs in the parliament, the power gang and the opposition gang.

In an interview, the former president said that he thought that these minds would be emancipated, but they are slipping worse and worse.

"It is the result of a relatively long and chronic disease that has involved Albanian politics and the parliament is the most representative political institution. We see two gangs in that institution that should be of free speech, respect for the law and communication with the public. We have the power gang and the opposition gang. The diagnosis must be shown correctly. In a long parliamentary experience, I have never seen the parliament like this, although there have been tragic events up to injuries, it has never been like this. I thought that these minds would be emancipated, but they are slipping worse and worse," Topi said.

According to him, this situation will last as long as the evil is inside. Topi said that the Parliament hall does not offer any hope that things will change.

That hall offers no hope that things will change. When I make this comment, I do not have in mind the composition of all MPs because not all of them were included in the same bag. This is a crime against democracy. If they had thought that they would have reacted out of incompetence, they are both.
