Lawyer Adriana Kalaja has described the work of SPAK prosecutor Dritan Prençi with the Tirana incinerator file as butchery.

In a connection with Syri TV, Kalaja stated that for the Tirana incinerator alone, 90 thousand euros are still paid per year and no service is received.

She emphasized that people who have abused the law and their duties are continuing to receive their benefits despite the legal violations they have committed.

"Prosecutor Dritan Prençi has made a mess of the incinerator file. For Tirana alone, we have spent 130 million euros. We continue to pay 90 thousand euros a year and receive zero services. People who have abused the law and their duties continue to receive their benefits without any consequences," said Kalaja.

We recall that Dritan Prençi is the SPAK prosecutor who is sleeping on the Tirana incinerator file, even though the facts, evidence, and documents have been published by CNA, other media, and denunciations have also been made by the opposition about this affair, which has been called the affair of the century.

Prençi has a mountain of documents in his office at SPAK that unravel the Tirana incinerator affair, but it seems he has chosen to drag out the file and settle for only accusing the structured criminal group and to pass the bill of hundreds of millions of euros and corruption to Lefter Koka and several other officials.

Dritan Prençi has before him documents accusing Erion Veliaj, the arrested mayor of Tirana, of 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, but refuses to press at least one charge against him. /CNA
