Braho "slaps" politics: I'm glad SPAK is disliked by both sides

The head of SPAK, Klodjan Braho, has given a slap in the face to politics, saying that he is glad that SPAK is disliked by both political sides as this shows that the institution is on the right track.

He emphasized that decisions to conduct investigative actions or summon persons for questioning are not made based on political or public expectations, but only according to the needs of the investigation.

According to Braho, it is the prosecutor who decides which persons should be questioned in order to clarify the case, underlining that everyone is equal before the law.

The head of SPAK also emphasized that no one is immune from investigation and that the main challenge for the prosecution remains securing evidence to support any criminal proceedings.

"I am glad that SPAK is disliked by both political sides because it shows that the institution is on the right track. Carrying out investigative actions, summoning a person are not decisions that are made based on expectations but because of the need for the investigation and it is the prosecutor who decides who to question and who not to. All are equal before the law, the challenge is evidence. No one is immune from the investigation," said Braho./ CNA
