The Director of the Albanian Cadastre, Lorena Gaxhobelli, shared today the new deadlines foreseen for the completion of legalizations in the country.
Speaking at the hearing of the Subcommittee on Public Sector Audit, Gaxhobelli said that according to the legal deadline, the process for properties in Albania will end in 2028.
"For the first 6 months of 2026, we have approved 17,396 legalization decisions, it is a higher number than in 2023-2024, and it will be an even better year than 2025. Of course, we have a very large number of files for this process. The legal deadline in the law to close the legalizations is 2028," said Goxhobelli. /CNA
