A 21-year-old from Chania lost her life after being hit by a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old Albanian. The event took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, where it was initially reported that the girl was seriously injured, but after a series of operations performed mainly on the head, the girl did not manage to survive.

The mother of the 21-year-old recently wrote a touching status on "Facebook", where she said goodbye to her daughter.

 "Are we in a shadow dream or a shadow dream? In the black mists the beauty of infinity... My soul to the ends of the universe. I'm not saying goodbye my love, but see you again! I love you to heaven and beyond and I will love you as long as I live and breathe," she writes.
