Strong debates between Spiropal and Salianji/ "Violence with a baseball bat is also punished"

Today there were strong debates between Minister Elisa Spiropali and Ervin Salianji in the Commission for National Security.

While Salianji has mentioned the physical violence against Sali Berisha, Spiropali has reminded him of the 2021 protest where Salianji took out his stick against the democrats as they tried to enter their house.

 " The institutions have failed to protect. I have a request that due to the serious situation and the violence that Sali Berisha suffered, I propose that we all condemn this act together. Take a stand and give support to the police to separate themselves from political influence." said Salianji.

While Spiropali retorted: "Violence is also punished by those who have held a baseball bat in their hand to protect themselves from them and their followers, who for reasons of violence have not found another language"./ CNA.al
