Prime Minister Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the presentation of the Project of the new Commercial Port of Durrës, emphasized the importance of this project.

Rama stated that this project is a new face, not only for Albania but also for the Western Balkans.

In addition to the presentation of the project, Rama did not hesitate to target the opposition, saying that if this project had started earlier, today Albania would be reaping the fruits.

According to Rama, the conditions are already there to have a decent port and not like the one of the past centuries.

“Të gjitha rrugët e Ballkanit Perëndimor të çojnë në Durrës.

Durrësi është konsideruar si tavernë e Adriatikut. Durrësi limani më i rëndësishëm i kohës, pozitë të cilën e mbajti dhe pas krijimit të shtetit të Arbrit.

Sot jemi në shekullin 21 dhe jemi vonë se nëse do shihni me kudjes projeksionet e kompanisë dhe progresionin e të ardhurave, po të kishte nisur kjo punë 20 vite më parë sot do të ishim duke marrë frytet.

Tani janë pjekur kushtet më në fund që të kemi një port tregtar të denjë, jo si ai i shekujve të shkuar.

Ndërkohë ambicia jonë është që Porti i ri Tregtar i Durrësit të bëhet nyja më e rëndësishme strategjike e gjithë qarkullimit tregtar me Perëndimin dhe me gjithçka që shkon përtej anës Perëndimore, për të gjithë Ballkanin Perëndimor.
