The census confirmed that 100 thousand Albanians live in Serbia/ What provoked

The head of the Municipal Administration of Presheva, Hazvi Ramadani, has confirmed that the census in Serbia has ended. This census showed that more than 100,000 Albanians live in the territory of the neighboring country.

Ramadani also specified the total number of people who have been registered during the last 31 days in the Presheva Valley.

It is reported that until now there are 95 thousand people who have registered in the municipality of Presheva, 54 thousand 506 in Bujanovc and 8 thousand 475 people in Medvegja.

Most of these people are Albanians.

Despite the fact that the process has not yet been finally closed, controversies have started. During the past week, the Serbian president provoked by stating that the figures that will be reported by the census will not show the real number of Albanians in Serbia. He further said that many families in Bujanoc, Preševo ??and Medvedja register members who do not live in Serbia.

So the Albanian political factor in the Valley reacted by condemning the president's statement. They also raised concerns in international institutions. /CNA.al
