The Bulgarian opposition has stated that it is in favor of lifting the veto on Northern Macedonia, a decision that looks like a green light for the opening of negotiations for Northern Macedonia and Albania.
Former Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, reacted by stating that he wants to be optimistic in this case, writing that this would be good news for our region.
"This situation reminds me of 2018 where EU members discussed intensively until they found a compromise formula in the end. I want to be optimistic. It seems to me that #IGC with Albania and Northern Macedonia is finally close. This would be good news for our region as well ", writes Ditmir Bushati./ CNA.al
