Balluku on the Vlora bypass: No tolerance for abusers of public spaces along
Belinda Balluku, deputy prime minister

In the bypass of Vlora, through the intervention of the National Inspectorate of Territory Protection, it has become possible to remove all the entities that had abusively occupied public spaces, using them for the exercise of commercial activities. These illegal interventions had also damaged road safety, thus creating danger for all users of this road axis.

After their removal through IKMT, a new phase will begin for the return of some of these points to resorts for all citizens, but also foreign visitors, who will be able to enjoy the panorama that the area offers.

The Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku was on the ground, in one of the points already freed thanks to the intervention of IKMT inspectors, together with the director of ADF, Dritan Agolli and the head of IKMT, Ervin Hoxha.

"Almost in the entire axis, Babicë-Orikum, Orikum-Dukat, all subjects have been identified. There has been a tendency in almost all resorts to establish a commercial activity, mostly small, with kiosks, and despite our warnings to move and free these public spaces, to create a view from the tourists, this it was impossible. In the end, we as IKMT made a decision to relocate them and almost all the points, 18, which were illegal, were moved", announced Hoxha, referring to the action taken over several days by IKMT in the area.

For his part, director Agolli announced that the work has started to identify the points where these places will be built, where there are 5 of them so far. "We will be able to do some projects which we hope that after the end of the tourist season, September-October, we will start working so that everything will be ready for the next season", said the director of the ADF.

Deputy Prime Minister Balluku said that work will begin immediately on the design of these points, to be ready for the next tourist season, serving as a rest environment for all citizens.

"What we have to do is that we have to immediately start the correct design and, as we did with the platform in Llogara, it turned into a platform with security conditions and parameters, which is more important. Here we have to take all the measures for safety conditions during the design and then for their construction to have in the next season", underlined Balluku.

The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy warned that there will be no tolerance for anyone who abuses, announcing that there will be administrative penalties if similar violations are found, not only on the Vlora bypass, but on any other axis. road, as these interventions endanger road users.

"The consultation period ends here and real measures will begin to be taken, be it fines and other administrative acts, as all parties must be respected and we are not only talking about respect for state property, but we are also talking about security ", warned Balluku./ CNA
