The People's Advocate reveals the figures/ Over 1,000 citizen complaints were handled in 2023

The People's Advocate has released the figures for 2023, where it states that it handled a total of 7,056 cases and requests, an increase of 792 cases more than in 2022.

"1021 cases are direct requests and complaints from citizens. This shows that more and more citizens are trusting us to solve their problems and concerns", says the People's Advocate.

Meanwhile, 238 cases were handled on the institution's own initiative. 75 cases have resulted outside the jurisdiction of the People's Advocate, which have been referred to the relevant institutions for further treatment.

While 5,722 cases have been handled in the form of counseling and guidance, providing citizens with clear instructions on the legal paths they should follow to handle their cases.
