9 protests against Veliaj/ Citizens gather again in front of Tirana City Hall

This Tuesday, the ninth Tirana Municipality protest will be held.

Citizens will continue to demand the resignation of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, after the scandals of the incinerators and the "5D" file that sent several directors of the Municipality of Tirana to prison.

It is expected that hundreds of citizens of Tirana, representatives of the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater and the opposition will gather at 11:00.

Citizens have warned that they will not stop until Veliaj leaves, while the police, on the other hand, have announced that they have started taking measures.

The protests have been going on for more than two months and started immediately after the arrests of the directors of Veliaj, by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office.
