Kujtim Cakrani, the lawyer of former President Ilir Meta, stated today that Prime Minister Edi Rama has appeared five times on the case he defends.

Invited to A2 CNN, Cakrani stated that the defense will request that all witnesses be called as part of the process, including the head of government.

"Mr. Rama appears five times in the case of Mr. Meta, but the prosecutors were unable to question Mr. Rama. In one of the episodes of Mr. Meta's accusation, it is because the mining law was voted. While the law was proposed by the Socialist Party, the entire procedure was carried out by the Socialist Party deputies. We have decided that all persons, except those who have been questioned, will be called there again to testify. We will call our witnesses who were not questioned intentionally, unintentionally, unintentionally, were overlooked by the procedural body. Among these persons is the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Rama, who will come to testify there about all the actions he has taken", said Cakrani. /CNA
