The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, reacted immediately after the arrest of 42-year-old Klerent Bozhanaj, the author of the wounding of the EA officer.
Balla congratulates the State Police for arresting the author.
He warns that he will not tolerate anyone who violently opposes, insults, threatens, hits or endangers the life of a police officer.

It is the moment to remember who disobeys the order/lawful call of the police, or even worse opposes it with force, dares to insult, aggress, threaten, hit him or even endanger his life in the exercise of his duty or because of duty, it should be clear that tolerance will be ZERO.
I will do everything for a new criminal policy/practice to take place in this direction, seeking the support of the justice system. The legal framework is there in the Criminal Code (with the changes that I myself supported in the Assembly in 2019) and in the law on the State Police", writes the minister on social networks. / CNA
