The US Embassy in Serbia is closed to the attack in Kosovo

The American Embassy in Belgrade has reacted after the attack that happened the day before in Kosovo against the Kosovar police by a terrorist group.

The embassy has redistributed on social networks the post of Matthea Miller, the spokesperson of the US State Department, where it is said that the US strongly condemns the coordinated violent attacks against the Kosovo Police.

It is also requested from Kosovo and Serbia to avoid movements or rhetoric that would further increase tensions.

"The USA strongly condemns the coordinated violent attacks against the Kosovo Police since September 24. We call on Kosovo and Serbia to avoid movements or rhetoric that would further increase tensions and return to dialogue with the mediation of the EU".
